Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th in 1967. She is an American performer and singer. Her career started when she was still a teenager. Her most notable role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a officer and dealer in cars). There are three siblings. As a teenager, she performed at nightclubs by sneaking from the house. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, performer and actress. She started her acting career at Wooster school when she was 13 years old. She is a Brookfield resident born in Brookfield Connecticut in 28th April 1967. She is the daughter an American-born father from Germany and a mother who is German-American. Kari has three brothers and sisters. The singer was in nightclubs when she was teens, sneaking out of the home to perform. Kari was studying acting by the time she was just 13 years old. She then studied drama at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College, as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and along with Uta Hagen who was a famous instructor. Kari stepped into acting as a teenager, and her first television break was in 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
